Mahesh walked with all those questions in mind for about an hour. He doesn't know what time it is, what date it is, what year it is and what place it is. He is getting thirsty and his feet started to pain, he is not used to walk outside barefooted. The skin tight cloths he is wearing are making him even more uncomfortable. He continued his journey in a random direction. He is not able to guess the direction he is going as it is already mid day. Atleast if it is morning or evening, he would have guessed the direction based on the position of Sun. After walking for about 30 more minutes, he saw moving water. In his whole life Mahesh never felt the taste of water till then. He drank water by using his palms and washed his face. The cold water touching his face on this warm day has brought a wonderful joy to him. But that joy remained with him for only few seconds before the questions came back to his mind.
With very tired body, tired mind and with hungry belly, Mahesh sat below a tree near by. He slowly removed his tight shirt and felt a great relief through out his upper body. He did the same to his trousers and experienced cold breeze gently brush his whole body. He is not worried about his nakedness as he didn't see any human till that time. Also, shyness is the last feeling he can think of at that point. Mahesh then, made a bed for himself on the floor below the tree, after removing some twigs and thorns at that place. He folded his cloths, placed them on the floor. He then, lied down with his head on his cloths and tried to remember how he came to this place.
While he is trying to remember what happened the previous night, his eye lids and brain has different plan. He went to deep sleep without realizing that he is sleeping. His thoughts continued even during his sleep, he got a dream then.
His ex girlfriend Priya is laughing with her fiancé happily without realizing the presence of Mahesh. Mahesh wants to slap her for cheating on him and leaving him. But, unable to do anything he continued his journey to his home. He has an emotional breakdown and started drinking heavily. Then, he put on his time travel cloths and thought to use the device and travel to a time where Priya didn't even exist. But, he is still in his senses and decided not to do anything without understanding how to use the device fully. Then, the vodka shots he took are making a come back. He then called Priya, and scolded her bitterly. Her fiancé who is next to her then took the phone and gave back strongly to Mahesh. He dared Mahesh to stay back in his apartment so that he will come and teach him a lesson. Mahesh didn't bother much and went to slight sleep when he heard someone is trying to break his apartment door. He realized that there are about 5-6 people including Priya's fiancé. Drunk and scared, Mahesh locked himself in his inner bedroom and called the Scientist. Mahesh asked him, "How to use the device?". The Scientist replied, "It is very simple. Press the top and middle button together. There you will get options to choose activity or enter years to go back or view user guide". Mahesh then realized that the outer door is broken and they are about to enter his room. He entered a number and then all he can remember is a green light.
With such a scary dream, Mahesh woke up with heavy breath. Just when he is back to his senses, he felt something moving on his right thigh. What Mahesh saw is one of the scariest things he ever imagined. A black scorpion is moving up on his right thigh. It is slowly moving up. Mahesh's heart almost stopped. He doesn't know what to do, he is scared to move or push it aside fearing its bite. Just then, he heard a slight noise of someone stepping on dry leaves near by. Mahesh got scared further thinking if it is a wild animal. He started turning his head slowly towards his right side where sound is coming. But, before he can do that, he saw a person who jumped near him and pushed the scorpion away.
