Seeing Draupadi in that state, everyone who can see except the evil four wept silently. Vidura continued-
Vidura: Oh King! While the first quarter of sin will go the person who did it. The second quarter will go those accompanying, the third quarter will go the people who directly or indirectly encourages and the final quarter will go the spectators who didn't try to stop it. Oh King! think to which category we both belong to?
Duryodhana: Vidura, you never liked my success and your never liked to see me rejoicing. You are partial towards Pandavas. So, there is no surprise that you are putting forward your stupid logic here. But, let me tell you something. You have only two options now, either to see what is happening and going to happen silently or leave the court immediately. We don't need a prime minister who doesn't like the success of Prince.
Vidura: King! I were given options by your son after what I advised you. As prime minister to the empire, it is my duty to guide the King in his rule. I don't see my advices are taken seriously here. In that case, I don't see a reason why I have to continue as your prime minister. I am resigning as the prime minister of this Empire now.
Duryodhana: Vidura, I can't tell you how happy I am with your decision. As you are no more a minister, you have no role in this court now. So, leave immediately from here.
(Vidura didn't wait for any final words from King or anyone else in the court. He left the court immediately. With Vidura gone the court has became silent and can now here the deep sobbing of Draupadi.)
Duryodhana: Draupadi, why are you crying now. Were you bored of having only five husbands? No need to cry for that, you now got more men for yourself.
(Listening to this humiliation to Draupadi, supporters of Duryodhana laughed wildly. But, this didn't take away the will of Draupadi to fight for herself.)
