 The latest movie of Leonardo DiCaprio is a very nice satire on what can happen to the world if a selfish leader combines with a selfish businesses person. While I don't find a strong relation with anyone in real life, I like the way some points are raised in the movie. The correlation between the on going issue "Global Warming" with the Comet is uncanny.  Its a known fact that many leaders across the world are neglecting basic issues like "Global Warming", "Deforestation" and "Preserving Environment". While the recent agreements have raised some hope, many people say this is too late. Everyone has a genuine argument-  Developing countries argue that, first world countries progressed for 200 years by burning fossil fuels.  Lately, I see that many people in social media use past as a way to be angry instead of using it as experience for better today. This is not unique for a single place or single society. This has become an universal problem. In my opinion, the major reasons for this is "Victim Mentality". Simply put, for some people blaming someone else for their failure has become the easiest way to justify their failure. The unfortunate thing is, they use this tactic to even comfort themselves. In some cases, some people striving to become leaders use full or partial truths from past to ignite hatred between people and communities. Apart from this "Victim Mentality", there is yet another way past is being used by some people to self boost themselves. I call this "Those Glory Days Mentality".  If a kid in India is asked the question, what is India? His answer might be in one of the below lines- India is the region from Kashmir in the north to Kanya Kumari in the south and Gujarat in the west to Arunachal Pradesh in the east. India is the combination of multiple languages, religions and cultures. Above responses from a kid are very satisfactory. But, is it fully correct? If first statement is correct, then India is less then 75 years old. If second statement is correct, then the question is what is keeping this country together? I thought about this question multiple times earlier. At some point, I even thought why should India be together at all? Below are the reasons I went through such thoughts. Draupadi: I asked answers for two questions through the royal servant. For which, I didn't get any response. I am repeating them again. First question is to Yudhistor. Pratihari heard the anger in the voice of Prince Duryodhana. He bowed to his prince and started replying- Pratihari: Queen Draupadi asked... Sakuni: Draupadi is no more a queen. She is now a slave of Prince Duryodhana. So, don't prepend the word Queen for her. Pratihari: Draupadi asked couple of question for which I don't have answers.  Anger of Duryodhana didn't stop Vidura from saying what he want to say. Vidura: Oh King! No doubt that Duryodhana is the prince of this vast empire. But, I am afraid of what will happen to the moral standards of people in this Kingdom and state of women of this Kingdom when he becomes the King. I am afraid to even imagine. (Karna and Sakuni interrupted Vidura) Karna: Women in the Kingdom will be given same respect as they are receiving now. Slave women like Draupadi will be treated the way their masters wish.  The game of dice laid clear path for war. Yudistara, the eldest of Pandavas and King of Indraprasta lost everything in gambling. He lost all his wealth, his kingdom, himself, all his brothers and finally the queen of Indraprasta, Draupadi.  Yudistara's opponent, Duryodhana the prince of Hastinapura along with his mentor and uncle Sakuni, his brother Dushyasana and his friend Karna are cherishing the moment. They are making the best use of the opportunity to humiliate Pandava brothers. They took away the crown of Yudistara, weapons of Pandavas and even their cloths. Some of the people in the court of India's biggest empire are cherishing what is happening, while those who felt it wrong remained mute. I did watch this video few years back when I am struggling to keep up with the challenges I am facing in my personal life. Some of them, I am not even able to share with anyone. At that time, this simple video reminded me what I already know. When your life becomes tougher, many people will just abandon you for their own good and you have to face the challenges of life alone. I also realized later that, being strong in such instances and facing them boldly will be well rewarded. Adding this to my blog, hoping that this will help some other people as well.

No one needs any introduction about Mahatma Gandhi. He is the one who united Indians and fought a non traditional battle against Britishers. He is the one who thought the world that Truth, Non-Violence, Peace are not week but they are a symbol of strength.  How did he do that? Why did people took blows without protesting, just because a half naked lean man asked them? What is so great about him? In this blog I want to answer these from my perspective. First of all, Gandhi might look week. But, when his ideology is added to him, he becomes immensely powerful. Now the question is, how can an ideology alone makes a person so powerful. The answer for that is, No. Ideology alone doesn't make a person great. Dedication towards it, following it with whole heart and trying to help people through that makes a person great. It is now more then 14 months since my son entered the world. While he is so tiny, he did cause some huge changes for me. I started waking up even with slightest cue he makes even in the middle of the night. I started looking at his face in pictures instead of mine. I don't like the quite environment when he is not around. My patience level is atleast doubled. I never thought I will love someone so much even whey are the cause of my sleep deprivation. This small fellow became the prime factor when I make any decisions. Source of my feelings moved to him. If he is playing, I am happy and if he is crying, I am worried. I am more happy with his tiny milestones (like crawling and walking) then my personal achievements. My photos became scares on my phone, they were replaced by my little one. My screen time for non-work related stuff reduced drastically.
